Power Distribution Units

Applications

Texas spectrum electronics can build a variety of different power distribution unit configurations. Your power distribution unit can be custom designed for multiple rated circuit breakers with combined gmt fuse configurations, un-filtered or with emi filtering. Designed to fit industry standard 1ru, 2ru or 3ru rack systems.

Features & Benefits

  • 12, 24, OR 48 VDC POWER SYSTEMS
  • SINGLE OR DUAL INPUTS/OUTPUTS
  • COMBINED GMT FUSE CONFIGURATIONS
  • HIGH OR LOW POWER CIRCUIT BREAKERS
  • EMI/RFI POWER LINE NOISE FILTERING REDUCES UNWANTED POWER LINE NOISE TO EXTERNAL OUTPUTS
  • INDUSTRY STANDARD 1RU, 2RU, OR 3RU RACK MOUNTED SYSTEMS
  • FRONT PANEL GREEN LED POWER ON INDICATORS
  • FRONT PANEL RED LED CIRCUIT BREAKER TRIP INDICATORS
  • POSITIVE VISUAL INDICATIONS OF A BLOWN FUSE OR TRIPPED CIRCUIT BREAKER
  • OFFICE ALARM RELAY WITH FORM "C" CONTACTS THAT ENGAGE ONLY WHEN CIRCUIT BREAKER HAS BEEN TRIPPED OPEN
  • FRONT AND REAR PANELS CAN BE ANODIZED CLEAR COAT OR BLACK FINISH
  • TAILORED DESIGNS TO MEET YOUR SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

Specifications

Operating voltage: 12, 24, or 48 volts DC systems, positive or negative ground, or custom. Dual isolated inputs/outputs: (A) & (B).

Enclosures: 16 gauge aluminum designed for rack mount applications, includes brackets. Enclosure sides are power coated black. Front and rear panels come in anodized clear coat or black finish.

Dimensions: Width = (19, or 23"), x depth = (5, 7, 10, 12, 15, or 17"), x height = (1.75, 3.5, Or 5.25"), or custom size.

Alarm indicators: Circuit breaker trip alarm indicator with red LEDs and relay contacts. Relay closes only when circuit breaker has been tripped, but not when manually turned off. Can be used to operate any audible or visual office alarm device. Contacts are common, normally closed, (N.C.), And normally open (N.O.).

Led indicators: Red LEDs below each circuit breakers will light indicating which circuit breaker has been tripped, but LED will not light up when circuit breaker is manually turned off.

Green LEDs indicate power on for both (A) and (B) power feeds.

Circuit breakers: Provided distribution and overload protection from .05Amps - 1200Amps on a six-pole breaker, thermal or hydraulic-magnetic. All circuit breakers are UL approved.

Warranty: All power distribution units are warranted to be free from component defects and workmanship for a period of one year. Warranty is voided on any product that has been improperly installed, handled, altered, or misused. Texas spectrum electronics will not be liable for any consequential or indirect damage to equipment.
